Terms & Conditions for Ultimate & Tuareg Experience

Our course fee includes:
- Use of one of our off-road motorcycles and fuel
- Third-party insurance
- Protective clothing and equipment
- Refreshments (tea, coffee, water)
- Lunch – included with Tuareg Experience only
Not included:
- Personal accident insurance
- Accommodation
Payment Methods:
All payments must be made by card either via our website or through a secure payment link. We do not accept cash or bank transfers.
2. Customer Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or post. We will confirm receipt within 5 working days. Until confirmation is received, your original booking remains valid.
Cancellation charges:
- 15+ days before course start date – 15% cancellation fee
- 14 days or fewer – no refund or date transfer allowed
If you are unable to complete your course once it has started, no refunds will be issued.
3. Changing Your Booking
Requests to change course dates must be submitted in writing (email or post). We will acknowledge receipt within 5 working days.
Change requests are subject to:
- 15+ days before course – 10% administration fee
- 14 days or fewer – changes are at our discretion and may incur a 20% surcharge
Important:
You may transfer a booking once only, and it must be used within 12 months. If course prices have increased, you will need to pay the difference. Please note, course availability cannot be guaranteed when transferring.
4. Course Cancellations by Mick Extance Ltd
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a course due to:
- Safety concerns (e.g. extreme weather or poor visibility)
- Insufficient bookings (up to 2 weeks before the event)
You will be informed promptly and offered either a rescheduled date or a full refund.
5. Insurance
Ultimate Experience Day: Your booking includes third-party insurance while on the course.
We do not provide personal accident insurance. You are strongly advised to arrange your own cover prior to attending.
Aprilia Tuareg Experience Day: Your booking includes fully comprehensive insurance while on the course. You must be aged 25 or over, and held your Full ‘A’ Licence for 2 years to be insured to ride with us.
6. Safety
Off-road motorcycling involves risk. While we take all necessary precautions, participants must follow the instructions and safety briefings provided by our instructors at all times.
We reserve the right to move a participant to a different bike or group if we feel it is in the interest of safety. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
All participants must be physically fit to take part and must have completed their online waiver prior to the date of the experience.
7. Using Your Own Motorcycle
You may bring your own motorcycle to our courses. It is your responsibility to ensure that:
- It is in good condition
- It has at least third-party insurance
- It meets noise regulations (standard silencer or equivalent)
We reserve the right to refuse entry to any bike that is unsafe or excessively noisy.
8. Code of Conduct
We expect all participants to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow riders.
We reserve the right to remove any participant from the course for dangerous or inappropriate behaviour. No refunds will be given.
Participants are liable for any damage caused to equipment or property due to negligence.
9. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They may be used toward any available course.
If you use your voucher in a later year and prices have increased, you will need to pay the difference.

10. General
- By booking a course, you agree to follow all safety rules, instructions, and our Code of Conduct.
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the course with no refund.
- Information is accurate at the time of publication but may be subject to change.
External Voucher Waiver Terms & Conditions
Summary:
This £25 Damage Waiver covers all accidental damage to your bike during your experience, with no
excess, unless caused deliberately or recklessly.
- Damage Waiver Fee
A £25 non-refundable Damage Waiver fee is payable by customers booking an experience using an
external voucher provider (including but not limited to Red Letter Days and Virgin Experience Days).
Payment of the Damage Waiver constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. - What the Damage Waiver Covers
The Damage Waiver covers all accidental damage to Mick Extance Experience motorcycles occurring
during the experience, including but not limited to:
- Cosmetic damage
- Mechanical damage
- Damage requiring replacement parts
- Significant damage resulting from an accident
Where damage is deemed accidental and occurs during normal use of the motorcycle as part of the
experience, no additional charges will be made, regardless of repair cost.
There is no excess payable under this Damage Waiver.
- What the Damage Waiver Does Not Cover
The Damage Waiver does not apply to damage caused by:
- Deliberate or intentional actions
- Reckless or dangerous riding
- Failure to follow instructor guidance or safety briefings
- Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Use of the motorcycle outside authorised activities or areas
In such cases, Mick Extance Experience reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs from
the customer.
- Customer Responsibilities
Customers are required to:
- Follow all instructions and safety briefings provided by Mick Extance Experience staff
- Ride in a responsible and reasonable manner
- Use the motorcycle only as authorised during the experience
- Report any incident or damage immediately
Failure to meet these responsibilities may invalidate the Damage Waiver.
- Assessment of Damage
All damage will be assessed solely by Mick Extance Experience.
The determination of whether damage is accidental or excluded under these Terms is at the
reasonable discretion of Mick Extance Experience. - Relationship with Voucher Providers
The Damage Waiver is administered entirely by Mick Extance Experience and is separate from the
external voucher provider.
External voucher providers include, but are not limited to:
TrackDays, Virgin Experience Days, Red Letter Days, and Experience Days.
Voucher providers accept no responsibility for:
- Damage to motorcycles
- Assessment of damage
- Charges arising from damage excluded under these Terms & Conditions
- Non-Refundable Fee
The Damage Waiver fee is non-refundable, including in cases of cancellation, non-attendance, or
where no damage occurs.
